Burly doesn't describe them. People like to talk about athletes during school shooting taking a bullet and not knowing because of their muscle mass.

The Masquerade of Mounds is much more than that. There is no rider who weighs less than 400 lbs. Height is irrelevant, as long as it's above 5 ft. They dress in the knotted hair of their victims. Long robes of differing lengths and pigments and bits of dried or wet scalp sagging and whipping wildly against the speed of their chariots.

The Masquerade of Mounds is generally considered one of the slower gangs in the riding lands. Their chariots are round, thick walled and rusted and undecorated. The only creature willing to obey their flesh whips are the boars they've mated with mules. Long snouts, tusked, big flat brown teeth. Coarse grey hair, mohawked mane.

Besides charioteering, their only living ideology is deeply grounded in anti-racism. Though, small folk are not considered human to any chariot gang.

One unique feature of the Mounds chariots is that also function as small grinding mills. Grain sacks on the back. Grabbing handfuls of the purple wheat, stuffing it into the grinder, all on the move. There isn't stillness for a charioteer. In the daylight hours. Their beer is legendary.

Weapon of choice: Warhammer with a reinforced, nail studded and splintered ale barrel attached to 6 ft. metal rod.
