The Netflix streaming content platform has finally released the seventh and final season of the TV series Orange is the New Black. This chapter closes one of the symbol series of the last ten years.

The series in question is inspired by the memory of Piper Kerman Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Woman's Prison. Piper Kerman is a woman from Connecticut who is sentenced to 15 months in prison in a federal women's prison run by the Federal Department of Correction, for a fact that took place ten years earlier.

The crime accused of her is that of carrying a suitcase full of money of illicit origin on behalf of Alex Vause, an international drug trafficker she used to love. During the trial, Chapman had managed to build a fairly well-off life, respecting the law with her new boyfriend Larry Bloom. Behind the bars, however, he meets Alex again, who, despite the initial hatred of the latter's words during the trial, gets closer.

Obviously other women live inside the prison, whose stories are told during the seasons through flashbacks. In this last season we will therefore find out how Piper's adventure will end and above all his love story with Alex. The series, as previously anticipated, is already fully available within the platform catalog.
