Review: € 70 moisturizer by Lancome, does it work?

Today I want to review another moisturizer of mine.

I got to test this before purchase and was pleasantly surprised with the results.

The first thing I noticed was the light fresh ocean smell. Not overpowering like Biotherm Hydraplump, but fresher.

The lotion is so light that it feels very smooth and clean on my skin. My skin feels bare just minutes after application, I cannot feel that I am wearing anything.

My hands do feel a little siliconey when I have touched my face. It feels a bit odd and dewey, as in, although it feel like I am not wearing anything, my skin sort of feels moist as if I have been walking through light mist.

Makeup on my face feels more comfortable than without the moisturiwer. Foundation and powder feel more smooth and look more natural. My face doesn't hurt anymore when I'm smiling, because it's the end of January and my hair and skin are so done!

All in all a very light, comfortable, practical and efficient moisturizer.

In the long run it promises to improve skin texture and tone. But the reviews on makeupalley only lead to 2,5 stars. Somehow, on webshops, the stars are a lot higher ;)

So, you decide whether a € 70 moisturizer with no guarantee is something for you, I personally find it a lot for a product that feels so siliconey and dewey. I think I won't recommend this one this time.
