He's My Baby by Noire |
I bought this tint from Aliexpress ... In Aliexpress terms, this tint is kinda expensive at £2.16 (now on sale for £1.93 *whimpers*). Apparently one of the reviewers mentioned that this exact tint can be found on Aliexpress for much cheaper. I did try my best to find a cheaper seller but, in the end, I gave up searching to find something that just might only be 50p cheaper. Believe me, I looked, but who knows you may have better luck ... Now, besides being slightly expensive for the likes of Aliexpress, the seller I purchased this tint from had positive feedback which at the least made me feel like I would receive the correct product I ordered in relatively good time, which is what happened.
Outer Packaging - the outer box it came in was squashed. I'm not so uptight about the outer packaging being perfect as long as it not dirty or the product has not been used. Yet, the sight of this imperfection did make me give out a little "oh no!" out loud but, nothing inside was dirty or damaged.
Product Packaging - copied 3ce lip tattoos to a T, minus the "cute" pink character which I personally find more scary than adorable (see picture below). However, in my books, the bleeding watery heart more than makes up for the other scary design. The product feels well made and has a surprising weight to it and the doe-foot works well with the formula.
Scent - part of the reason I was set on getting this was because a reviewer said it smelt like bubblegum. Well, to me it doesn't smell like bubblegum - more like a sweet-bitter fruity scent that reminds me of a cheap lip gloss set I once owned.
Formula - a gel-like consistency. Not extremely watery like an atypical lip tint or thick like a gloss. It's pigmented, spreads nicely on the lips and stays where it is put. The texture doesn't dry to a flat matte and it has a sheen finish with a smooth feel. It does not dry down naturally matte and will continue to have a sheen unless you blot your lips or it wears away through eating. It's also very moisturising and I find that whilst wearing it and even when it wears away - my lips are comfortable and moisturised. Out of all the tints I've tried (Korean and non-Korean), I'd say this gel tint is the most moisturising because the glossy finish doesn't evaporate. Also, it doesn't have an icky taste and mixes nicely with other lip products.
3ce Comparison: the real 3ce #Coma is much deeper and berry toned. I'm not surprised that the shade doesn't match up to these promo picks of 3ce products or the photos that the seller used which look like their basically cropped from 3ce. If your purpose is to find an exact copy of STLENANDAS tint in terms of colour I would skip this fake.
PZC Broomstick liquid lipstick and #coma (I mixed it together with my fingers - in future I'd use a brush because it does stain). |
How does it wear?
Wear - actually wears well enough. Food and water will remove it and leave a gentle "lip liner rim" around your mouth and because it is a tint, it will stain your lips but not horrendously. End Thoughts: I don't hate it. Actually, I'm kinda impressed. I don't have any burning desire to try out a real 3ce lip tint - though I am mildly curious to how one may actually stack up to a fake and despite the colour being brighter than I expected, the only real disappointment came from the scent which is a benign point to make since it's not strong and is pleasant enough (I was just hoping for something more tutti-fruity). If there were different shades I would consider buying this tint again - a darker red, maybe a brown? (I've never seen a brown lip tint - perhaps that could be a new thing?!). At the end of the day, it's a good product.
Have you tried any fake/knockoff makeup products?
Have you bought anything from Ali-Express?
