New in Beauty: March Edition

Recently it has been hard for any beauty lover to keep up with the new releases, there have been so many new products it is hard to know what is good. I am constantly looking at the new release pages on my favourite beauty destinations so like everyone i have my eye on a hundred different products. I wanted to share with you the products that i have been intrigued by this month. Some of these are out and have been for a few weeks and some will be coming out next month but they are all relatively new so lets get into it.

1. Too Faced - Natural Love Palette

I mean *Heart Eye Emojis* or what??? I first saw this palette last month and it looks like the ultimate palette for any nude shadow lovers like myself. This is available in the US already but won't be in the UK until next month. It only launched onto Sephora last weekend but due to my current make up ban i am unable to buy it until it comes to the UK. This allows me to read more reviews on this palette to see if it is worth its hefty price tag. I've seen a few reviews already and unfortunately they have been quite mixed about the more glittery shadows but the other formulas are meant to the usual Too Faced standard. It has 30 shades, some of them have been out previously in the Natural Eyes, Natural Matte and Natural at Night Palette but there are also quite a few exclusive shadows. This one isn't going to be for everyone and you need to love make up to want this one as it is a large palette with a large price tag. This is £52 on the Too Faced website so i assume it will be the same price when it goes into Debenhams. The whole spring collection from Too Faced looks amazing and i've spoken about the Love Light Highlighters in my previous New in Beauty post which i will link below.

2. Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops - Halo

If you haven't heard of the Custom FX Enhancer Drops they started out as a foundation mixer which alters the shade if you struggle to find the right one. Last summer they launched the highlight version and i was never that bothered by them, then they launched 3 new shades last month and i loved the look of these. I guess unicorn highlighting is a thing, a genuine trend which secretly i can't believe is a thing but i am jumping on that bandwagon. From the swatches i've seen of this it looks like it would be great for someone pale like me and it is rare for a highlighter to look like an actual highlight on my face. I recently bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit and it is actually quite glittery but the enhancer drops are supposed to be a glow rather than a glitter. It is a buildable highlight and it would be more dewy than a powder highlight. Additionally you can add it in to your foundation but would you want a whole unicorn face? I think i would probably just use it as a highlight. I do have to question some of the claims that are made in the description of this product; it is 'camera ready' does that mean it is only good for Instagram rather than real life? I guess i will never know until i try it. This is £32 which is quite a lot for a highlighter however you get so much product in this it will take a longggg time for it to run out.

3. Pixi x Caroline Hirons - Double Cleanse

I'm not sure this counts as new in as it has been out since the start of the year but i am counting it anyway. At the start of the year i wouldn't have been too bothered by this product but after trying the Pixi Glow Tonic i now want to try more Pixi products. I have been trying to get more into skincare and i have been double cleansing with products i already own so this would be a great all in one product. One side is a solid cleanser and the other is a cream cleanser; the solid cleanser is designed to remove make up and the cream cleanser is supposed to condition the skin. Caroline Hirons is a skin goddess so i would love to try a product created by her however skin care works differently on everyone so i would like to see if it works for me. There have been lots of great reviews for this product which makes me quite excited to buy this at some point.

4. Stila - Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows

As of late, every single youtuber has used these in their first impressions videos and they always look incredible. This is a pre-glued glitter so it makes it much easier to apply and a lot less messy. I feel like using these with a smoky eye on a night out would be amazing but i'm not sure how much i would use it other than that. They look very easy to apply but from what i have seen you need to work quickly. The shades are all beautiful, i think i like all of them which is unusual for me. I wanted to buy some in Marks and Spencer the other day but they were all out. I've got my eye on the shades Kitten Karma and Rose Gold Retro, would it be too much to cover my eyes in glitter everyday? For £23 you really do not get much product in these but they do look fun which is what make up is all about.

5. Charlotte Tilbury - Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask

As you can see from the picture above this doubles as a face mask and a Halloween costume. I've got to say this looks bloody terrifying but it is supposed to be amazing. Part of what makes this mask look so scary is that it covers your whole face. It has holes for your ears so you can get a more precise fit which is an issue i have with normal sheet masks, they don't fit my pea head. Another problem i have with sheet masks is that most of them are dripping with serum but this is completely dry so i would get the benefits of a sheet mask without the mess. Usually with a serum based mask there is a lot of water so it makes the skin feel more hydrated without really doing much whereas this one has ingredients like vitamins, floral extracts, peptides, oils and butters which all work to improve the quality of your skin. At £18 i don't think i will be trying this anytime soon but if you can afford to try this, from the reviews i've seen, it is worth it. Admittedly you are able to use this mask more than once but the thought of it kind of grosses me out for some reason. If you truly want to pamper yourself this could be a good way of doing it.

6. Becca - Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Prismatic Amethyst

Back to the unicorn trend and this one came out at the end of last month. I love Becca highlights, they are some of the best i've tried. They are some of the most visually stunning highlights; both in terms of the packaging and the product itself. They are buttery and they create a glow rather than piling glitter on to your cheeks. This specific highlight is supposed to have colour shifting pigments so it is holographic; it has elements of pale gold, rose and violet which all mix together to make an almost duo chrome effect. A lot of the reviews have said it is more rose rather than lavender but once again this looks like it would be great for paler skin. I'm not sure i would use this as much as i think i would but i love the look of this. This is definitely a trend lead piece and i can see why this is limited edition because in a year it probably won't be relevant but that doesn't stop me from wanting it.

7. Glamglow - Gravitymud Firming Treatment in Sonic Blue

Glamglow isn't as widely available in the UK as it should be, especially the Gravitymud mask. It can only be bought on Glamglow.co.uk, the other masks can be bought a few other places but the Gravitymud was hard to track down. Recently they launched the Sonic version and i've seen it on so many different people online and it looks amazing. This is a firming mask that you peel off and i would be interested in trying this version of a face mask made by Glamglow as i have only tried their wash off ones. I do have to say one of my favourite reviews i ever read was for this product on Sephora. Someone wrote that it didn't exfoliate at all so they gave it a 1 star when it is a firming mask and doesn't claim to exfoliate. It just shows you need to take reviews with a pinch of salt. This is £39 from glamglow.co.uk

8. Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Manny MUA Collab

This isn't out until the start of April but i wanted to include this as it has just been announced and i am very excited about it. A few weeks ago i wouldn't have given this set a second thought but recently i have been watching a lot of Jeffree's videos. After watching so many of his videos i have started watching Manny's channel as well. A lot of my friends are all about Jeffree Star products but before they have always been a little bit too bright for me but the colours in this collaboration are stunning! The name of the Skin Frost is Eclipse and it is a beautiful frosty peach, i've always had my eye on Peach Goddess but i was worried it would have too much colour for me but this one looks perfect. The two Lip Velour shades are also right up my alley, especially the shade Daddy. Daddy is a cool toned nude, which is literally perfect for me. The other shade i'm not so keen on which is called I'm Shook which is a muted coral red shade, i like it but i wouldn't use it as much. They will be available in the bundle and individually, i want the bundle as it works out to be better value. I will be keeping my eye on Beauty Bay because i desperately want this and i think it is going to be a great way of trying some of Jeffree's products as i haven't tried any before. This is launching on April 8th so if you like the look of it, i think this is going to sell out quick, so keep your eye out for it.

These are all of the products i currently have my eye on and would love to try, let me know if you like the look of any of these products and if there is a product you think i should have included in this post, give me a tweet @Sophaarambles
